Indigenous Team Alberta

Football Alberta accepted a challenge from Football Saskatchewan to participate in an 6-A-Side Game between Indigenous Provincial Teams from both provinces.  This game will take place on July 14, 2023 during the Football Canada Cup this summer in Edmonton.  At this time we are putting out a call to anyone of indigenous heritage to let us know of your interest.  The game is open to anyone with football experience who is currently in Grade 9-12.  The first step will be a selection camp on May 13 in Edmonton.  If you are eligible and interested in this game, regardless of if you make it to the next step for the Provincial Team or Senior Bowl Team you were trying out for in April, please let us know via the link below.

Indigenous Team Alberta Selection Camp

• Nisku Turf Training Centre #4
• 1030 34 Ave, Nisku, AB 
• Practice Time: 2 to 4pm and 6-8pm
• Cost: Selection Camp is Free for any player with Indigenous Heritage
• Players must currently be in Grade 9-12 to participate.

Team Alberta Details

• Team Alberta will be a 6-A-Side All-Star Team playing vs. Team Saskatchewan
• July 11-14 in Edmonton
• Meals, Accommodation, Jerseys, and Practise Times included
• $500 if selected to Team Alberta
