OPEN TO PLAYERS IN GRADE 9-12

  • May 31: 2-4pm & 6-8pm
    • Nisku Turf Training Centre #4 (1030 34 Ave, Nisku, AB)  
  • June 1: 12-2pm 
    • Emerald Hills Field, Sherwood Park

Cost: $125, plus GST for the Selection Camp

Team Alberta Details

  • Team Alberta will be a 9-A-Side All-Star Team playing in the Indigenous Cup 
  • Teams competing from Saskatchewan & Manitoba
  • June 29 to July 5th in Winnipeg
  • Travel, Meals, Accommodation, Jerseys, and Practice Times included
  • $1,250 if selected to Team Alberta. 
  • The Indigenous Sport Council of Alberta (ISCA) is thrilled to support Indigenous Team Alberta athletes and reduce the athlete fee from $2000 per athlete to $1250 per athlete. This subsidy reflects ISCA's ongoing commitment to making opportunities more accessible for Indigenous athletes, their families and their communities.

2024 Team Alberta

The 2024 Indigenous Cup hosted by Football Alberta, marks a significant step forward in recognizing and celebrating Indigenous talent in football. This year’s tournament saw teams assembled from 3 Prairie provinces compete at Commonwealth Stadium for the chance to hoist the Indigenous Cup. 

After a full day of hard-fought battles, Alberta was crowned champions after soundly defeating both Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
